Peter Tory started his musical journey on a dare from his fiancé.  Starting in coffee houses, churches, bars and joints he soon found a following in the tight musical circle in Milwaukee.  Playing in festivals such as Maritime Days,  Summerfest and the Milwaukee Lakefront Festival of the Arts,  solo and with his band The Fabulous Stubbs, he put his music on haitus after the birth of his daughter and a move to Texas.

20 years later and a new rebirth in his songwriting Peter began playing music again.  Using the influences of songwriters such as John Hiatt, Jerry Jeff Walker, Loudon Wainwright III, and David Lee, Peter began writing and playing again in San Antonio, Luckenbach Texas, and Hill Country venues.  His songwriting takes on a personal and observational role of everyday rituals, love and family.  His admiration in songwriters is shown in his music from Tom Petty, Wilco, Johnny Cash, Jerry Jeff, Cody Jinks to Ricky Nelson.   His story telling regarding family in songs such as Wyoming Wind, Ruby’s World and Daisy & Pearl or his dogs view take on Cats and 2 Lost Souls show longing and humor and his take of the world.
