Feeling sinful? Come to Middleton's and cleanse yourself from the inside out with a beer so humble, its brew style was created by monks. However the taste is far from humble.
"St. Bernardus Prior 8 is a traditional abbey ale brewed in the classic "Dubbel" style of Belgium's Best Abbey Ales. It has a ruby to purple color, smooth, creamy richness of texture that is almost oily, and a malt-fruit complexity reminiscent of coconut. (8% alc. vol.)
It finds the perfect balance between sweet, bitter and malty tastes. One of the original recipes from the days of license-brewing for the Trappist monks of Westvleteren."
Enjoy the Prior 8 in the glass it was meant for and for only $2 more you can take the St. Bernardus glass home to enjoy whenever you'd like.
For most monks, they brewed beer to ease the hunger pain's of fasting (or celibacy i can't remember) but you won't have to go hungry if you remember to stop by the AMAZING Slingin' Sliders and pick up a delicious little burger of any variety... they even do vegetarian.
