Culinary Zymurgy Tuesday 27 August 2019 - begins at 6:30 PM

Come see why food and beer make the perfect pairing at this intimate experience that spans the globe.  Come learn more about the world of beer and food.

Working with John Sandersen, MBTX coined the term Culinary Zymurgy. We feel it is the perfect term for pairing food with beer. The actual definition of each word is:

Culinary - having to do with cooking or the kitchen.

Zymurgy - the study or practice of fermentation.

Each of the 5 plated courses are paired with a Hand-Crafted Beer selected to enhance the flavors of the meal. All drinks are included in the cost of the meal.

The theme of Culinary Zymurgy number 21 is Vietnamese. Traditional Vietnamese cooking is greatly admired for its fresh ingredients, minimal used of dairy and oil, complementary textures, and reliance on herbs and vegetables.

The five courses are:

Course 1 - Goi Xoai -Green Mango Salad

Course 2 - Bahn Mi - Roast Pork Sandwich with Pickled Vegetables

Course 3 - Ga Chien Sa Ot - Lemongrass Chicken

Course 4 - Pho Bo - Beef Noodle Soup

Course 5 - Che Ba Mau - Three Color Dessert
