Cheese Cured Meats Dessert Beer Pairing

Join us for a truly exquisite pairing of Antonelli's cheeses,  Salt & Time cured meats and fine house-brewed ales. Dessert you ask? Yes. We have that too. Each pairing has been carefully chosen to exemplify a wide array of food and beer interactions that we seem to find, for lack of a better word, seductive. This is the first pairing of a series we're initiating aptly named, Beer Education Series. These classes will help to refine your pallet, increase your knowledge of beer and food pairing and above all, aid in the appreciation of simplistic enjoyment.

With a little liquid flowing through them, you'll find that most people in the wine world will admit that there are many areas in pairing wine with food in which beer just tends to have an upper hand. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a fine wine and cheese. Beer just does it better. Randy Mosher says in Tasting Beer that, "when you pair a soft, creamy cheese like a Camembert or Munster with a toasty brown ale", you are essentially recreating the familiar sensation of eating a grilled cheese sandwich. Beautiful. Lastly, in the words of the great Randy Mosher, "it is time for beer to take its place at the head of the table."

The pairing will take place on Saturday, May 21st, from 2-3:30 P.M. (It might run until 4:00 P.M.)

Tickets are available for purchase below. You may also purchase them at the bar. Just ask one of your beertenders.
